Kendrick’s walk-off grand slam lifts Nats in 11

Howie Kendrick launched a walk-off grand slam in the 11th inning to lead the Nationals to a 6-2 victory in the nightcap of Sunday’s doubleheader against the Giants. It was Kendrick’s first career grand slam and it came against Giants left-hander Albert Suarez to end a marathon 24 hours for both teams, which included a game late Saturday night that ended Sunday morning, followed by a pair of games on Sunday.
