For the third straight game, the Cubs’ offense scored just one run off a D-backs starter. But a much-needed bounceback outing from Jon Lester kept them in it, and Javier Baez sparked a late rally as Chicago beat Arizona, 2-1, on Wednesday at Wrigley Field.
