Mets keep ‘on mission,’ stand pat at deadline
After making a splash with the acquisition of Marcus Stroman, the Mets stood pat at the trade deadline, with GM Brodie Van Wagenen describing their thinking as, “we only wanted to consider moves that were going to improve our club and keep us on mission.”
