Napoli, Papi slowed down by nagging injuries

Two of Boston’s most lethal bats, Mike Napoli and David Ortiz, were not in Friday night’s lineup against the Royals due to minor, nagging injuries. Napoli (finger, toe) missed the second of a four-game series at Kauffman Stadium, while Ortiz rested his ailing right foot.
