O’s honor Jones, shut down Astros in finale win

The Orioles capped a difficult season with a win over the Astros, holding them to one hit in what may have been Adam Jones’ final game with the club. Though he went 0-for-4, he received ovations from the crowd throughout the game. Baltimore put up four runs in the fourth to secure the win, including an RBI single from Trey Mancini and RBI doubles from Tim Beckham and Renato Nunez, and starter Jimmy Yacabonis tossed four strong innings. Houston starter Charlie Morton also fared well as he tuned up for the postseason, striking out four in three scoreless frames.
