Phils club 4 homers to back stellar Eflin in rout
Zach Eflin pitched one of the best games of his 24-start career in a 11-0 victory over the Giants at Citizens Bank Park on Monday, allowing just four hits, three walks while striking out a career-high nine batters in 6 2/3 scoreless innings. Odubel Herrera homered twice, and Carlos Santana and Cesar Hernandez also went deep for Philadelphia. Jeff Samardzija struggled for the Giants, allowing five runs over four frames to take the loss.
