Pivetta baffles O’s in 11-K outing as Phils win

Nick Pivetta was brilliant against the Orioles, striking out 11 and allowing just one run and two hits in seven innings. Cesar Hernandez homered as part of the Phillies’ three-run sixth off Baltimore starter Andrew Cashner (5 2/3 IP, 3 ER), and Odubel Herrera extended his on-base streak to 42 games with a first-inning single. Hector Neris came on with two outs in the 9th to earn the save.
