Plawecki on DL with hairline fracture in hand

Catcher Kevin Plawecki will be placed on the 10-day disabled list retroactive to April 12 with a hairline fracture in his left hand, the Mets announced on Friday morning. The injury will not require surgery, and SNY analyst Steve Gelbs reported he could be back in as few as 2-3 weeks.
