Playing center, Bryce hits NL-best 19th HR

The night before the Nationals’ 7-5 victory over the Giants on Saturday afternoon at Nationals Park, Bryce Harper received a call from his skipper, Dave Martinez, wondering about his comfort level in center field. Harper had not played there since Oct. 3, 2015, but with the Nats’ influx of outfielders, Martinez was considering starting Harper there in order to create room and playing time for everyone.
