Rays escape jam in 9th to end losing streak
Two weeks ago the Rays won an exciting home opener, but since then had lost eight straight heading into their series with the White Sox. On Monday, their fortunes reversed at Guaranteed Rate Field.
Joey Wendle hit his first home run of the season and Mallex Smith matched a career high with four hits as the Rays took down the White Sox, 5-4, snapping their eight-game skid.
