Samson: Marlins agree to sell to Jeter-led group

Marlins president David Samson confirmed Saturday that the Bruce Sherman- and Derek Jeter-led group has finalized an agreement to purchase the Marlins from Jeffrey Loria. The signed agreement now awaits Major League Baseball’s approval.
