Segura flirts with cycle as Mariners best KC
The Mariners were in need of a solid Felix Hernandez start. They got that plus a hot night from shortstop Jean Segura in rolling to an 8-3 victory over the Royals. Segura was a home run shy of the cycle in going 3-for-5 with two RBIs, while Hernandez held the Royals to six hits and three runs over 5 2/3 innings.
