Stanton continues torrid run with 40th homer

Marlins slugger Giancarlo Stanton hit his Major League-leading 40th homer of the season in the sixth inning of Friday night’s game against the Rockies, going deep off right-hander Jon Gray. The homer was Stanton’s seventh in a span of eight games.
