Stras, Nats stung by long ball in home opener

The Nationals had a prime scoring chance against the Mets’ Jacob deGrom in the sixth inning of Thursday’s eventual 8-2 loss when they loaded the bases with nobody out after a leadoff single from Brian Goodwin and back-to-back walks to Anthony Rendon and Bryce Harper.
