Stripling limits Halos to Trout HR in Dodgers’ win

Before Saturday’s nationally televised game with the Angels, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts lobbied hard for the All-Star candidacy of Ross Stripling. Stripling backed up the endorsement by mastering the Angels in a 3-1 win, striking out seven in six innings of work. Justin Turner’s two-run single and Yasiel Puig’s solo home run supported Stripling’s efforts.
