Twins release Sanchez to make room for Lynn

Anibal Sanchez’s tenure with the Twins ended a few hours before he was scheduled to start against the Rays. The veteran right-hander was released Sunday weeks after signing a one-year, $2.5 million deal with the team, according to MLB.com’s Rhett Bollinger.
