Albies’ grand slam caps 6-run sixth, lifts Braves

Ozzie Albies hit his second grand slam of the season and Freddie Freeman belted a two-run shot during a six-run sixth inning that propelled the Braves past the Mets 8-2 on Tuesday. The sixth-inning eruption erased the short-lived deficit the Braves encountered when Jay Bruce gave the Mets a 2-1 lead with his two-run double off Jesse Biddle in the sixth. Biddle entered when Mike Foltynewicz was forced to exit because of right triceps tightness.
